Parents in Massachusetts that are taking care of small children are likely already thinking about their future. It is an unfortunate reality, however, that a parent may not always be around to help their child. Therefore, it could be beneficial for families with small children to create an estate plan that would prepare for situations in which one or both parents has passed away. Doing this could provide some stability in a child's life in the unfortunate event that a parent dies.
